Build Software LLC was founded in 2007 by Brian D. Eubanks, and is based in the Washington, DC metro area. Its goal is to apply semantic technology to the software development process, and to better support customers by removing artificial barriers to data access.
Brian is a consultant, speaker, author, and trainer specializing in Internet technologies. His current focus is on Java applications, Web development, and knowledge base engineering. Brian has more than 20 years experience as a computer programmer, network engineer, and systems consultant. He has worked with a variety of different technologies, including component-level electronics repair, network design, databases, systems and applications programming, and Internet development. One of his greatest strengths is integrating many disparate technologies into a coherent whole that fully supports the business needs of an organization. He has led workshops and short courses in information technology since 1997.
Brian holds a master's degree in Computer Science from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He is the author of Wicked Cool Java, No Starch Press, 2005. Brian is also the organizer of the Washington Semantic Web Meetup, a special interest group that meets regularly to discuss issues, technologies, and practical applications of the Semantic Web.
